A couple of years to be more specific. I haven’t forgotten my blog – life has happened since I’ve been away.
Personally, we settled in to our forever home and new twigs have been born into our family. We’ve taken several trips around the state – including visiting the graves of my ancestors’ relatives. Life has been wonderful!
I have been continuing education in research, local archives, and DNA. I look forward to attending RootsTech virtually for the 9th consecutive year. This past August, I attended the Annual Missouri State Genealogical Association genealogy conference held in Jefferson City at the State Archives over two days with The Legal Genealogist, Judy Russell, as featured speaker. A couple weeks later, I virtually attended a genealogy conference sponsored by GenealogyKC. I have attended webinars given by Diahann Southard of YourDNAGuide spotlighting different ways to find recent ancestors.
Using some of the newer features on Ancestry and FamilySearch, I’ve learned some fascinating information – but that will keep for future posts!
