Wendy – Found your blog and a listing of information on the Amores.
I am the daughter of Leo I. Amore (son of Roy Amore).
I was born and raised in Coshocton, Ohio. I have a brother Ronald L. who still lives in Ohio.
I presently live in Savannah, Georgia.
My Dad still lives in Ohio. There are only two of Roy’s children left – Annie and my Dad.
A huge thanks for all you have done. I hope to get into some geneology in the near future.
If I can be of help, I will see what I can do.
Please contact me.
Thanks, Beverly

Interested in the Caylors of Noblesville, Hamilton Co, and Anderson, Madison County, Indiana.
Any info gratefully appreciated, especially 1840 -1870 period.
Hi Wendy. Wow – I cannot believe I found you. In fact when I tried to figure that out a moment ago – I just do not know how I came across you except that I was looking for info on Lazarus House. You had entered a blog of sort listing the paternal lines and the House name snagged me.
I am a descendant of Lazarus House. Perhaps we can share some information? Then thru Jeremiah House and Jeremiah House II and so forth.
Again it was refreshing to see your article.

WENDY :My maternal grandmother was Anna Belle Foster(Baker), daughter of Benjamin and Clemmie Baker. I am interested in as much info as possible pertaining to her and our other relatives. I remember attending many Amore-Baker reunions in Coshocton in my youth. Thank you for your devotion to honoring our family. James Bates, London,Ohio
James – please send your correct email so I can reply to you! I responded and it bounced back saying you don’t have a yahoo email account.
Hi Wendy … my name is William Amore, I’m 64 years old and live 35 miles north of Boston. My wife and I just started on Ancestry.com and have found many connections on my mothers [Irish] side but the leads are cold on the sicillian side ending with my grandfather Alfio Amore. He did enter the US in New York and migrated to Lawrence MA. We have found a better link with my Grandmother Barbara Ragonesi, we even know the town in Sicily were she was born, but for the most part we’re at a standstill. There are Amore’s in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and the midwest. Not sure where this may lead but I am very Interested to see what my Sicilian relatives did for work and who they might have been. I would like find that missing ling as I am not sure if my grandfather Alfio had any sisters or brothers
William, thanks for contacting me, but my William Amore’s father came from England.
Hi Wendy, My name is Robyn King. My husband’s family also descends from Johannes Caylor. His maternal line comes through Michael Caylor, as far as I know, the youngest son of Johannes and Sarah Kinzie and brother to your Abraham!
Hi Wendy,
As far as I know, the Mullis family originated in this country with John Mullis coming to Virginia, then taking a common migration route into N.C. Back in the 1830s, several of the Mullis family moved to Pulaski County, Georgia. I come from this bunch (along with a zillion others) on my mother’s side of the family. I have always wanted to know when some of the Mullis family went to Indiana. When did this happen?
Nice to find your site.
Suzanne Flowers
Suzanne – I find my ancestor John Mullis in Rush county, Indiana by the 1840 census.
