I now live in Florida.
My grandparents (George W. Stern and Blanche M. Heiny Stern, moved from Clarksville to a farm 4 miles east of Strawtown.
I have the Stern genealogy back to 1736 when Johan and Barbara came to the USA from Switzerland. They settled in Mt. Joy twp, Lancaster County, PA. Last month I visited the area and found the original Stern cementery (most tombstones are still in German) and a house that ws built in 1802 (not sure by which Stern). It is now owned by a Dr that lives in Miami Shores, FL. It has had an addition built on and surely remodeled as it is being rented.
