Hi Wendy.
I've been lucky in that my New England ancestors all
migrated to one general area:Western Maine (mostly
Oxford County) and Northeastern New Hampshire when
they took advantage of land grants given to Revolutionary
War veterans, About half of them migrated from Essex
County in Massachusetts which is north of Boston while
the rest were from south of Boston in Plymouth County.
But I know some of my ancestor's siblings migrated west
to Ohio and Michigan and one of these days I need to
look into the where and why.

Thanks for reminding me I need to do that!
